President - Tommy Casarona is a native Clevelander who joined the BRFB in the summer of 2004. He began playing French horn at the age of eleven, continuing to play through his senior year of high school. During high school, he also learned to play valve trombone and was involved in jazz ensemble, marching band, concert band, and served as his high school's drum major during his senior year. He played French horn for his first LGBA performance in Fort Lauderdale in November of 2004. Currently the longest active member of the group, Tommy is an original member of the Board of Directors, having served as secretary and drum major since 2004, and has aided in the formation of the ensemble that is in existence today. In addition to his presidential duties, he also serves as the Marching Band Program Director, having seen the BRFB march in the cities of Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Lansing, Detroit and Indianapolis. Musically, he has a multitude of talents, including proficiencies in French horn, percussion and trombone. He is looking forward to the future, anticipating a highly successful fifth anniversary season, complete with concert and marching performances throughout the Midwest and the BRFB’s representation at the LGBA 2008 Conference in New York City this coming fall. Currently, he performs in the trombone section of BRFB.
Vice President - Tim Yanok has been with BRFB since January of 2005 where he serves as Vice President and trumpet section leader. In his three years with BRFB, he has worked closely with the artistic staff in building concerts and has worked directly on many of the BRFB's projects. Tim has marched in numerous Pride parades including Cleveland, Columbus and Indianapolis. Tim graduated with degrees in English and Music from Baldwin-Wallace College and was a member of the Baldwin-Wallace Jazz Ensemble. Tim works as an associate for a prominent high-end niche retailer in Cleveland.
Treasurer - Chris Daniels is proud and honored to be elected the Treasurer of the BRFB. He joined BRFB in the summer of 2005 and quickly established himself as a trustworthy and vital asset to the organization. He plays bass drum with BRFB and is a web designer and associate with a prominent gay retail establishment in Cleveland. He often serves as a liaison with other organizations in the community.
